Active in the Monroe, New York, community, Jon Edward Pelcin studies psychology at Rockland Community College. His current studies build on a successful career at Monroe-Woodbury High School, which included receiving scholarships from the MWUSC and the Special Education Teacher Association. Jon Edward Pelcin was the Unified Basketball Team captain, guiding a dynamic squad of general education and special education students. He was also a statistician with the boys’ varsity basketball team.

Jon Pelcin has a deep interest in sports and has delved into the careers of NBA, NFL, MLB, NHL, and NCAA athletes, as well as coaches, records, and standings. A practicing Catholic, he has contributed time and effort to preparing food for those in need at Our Father’s Kitchen. He has also offered sports mentorship to youth with disabilities and worked with individuals with autism. In his free time, he enjoys activities such as training and caring for his black Labradors.

Jon Pelcin’s professional background includes a role as a Walmart customer service aide, and he has been a capable and highly rated DoorDash shopper and delivery driver for several years. He has also delivered grocery orders for Walmart and served as a sanitation station attendant at BJ's Warehouse during the pandemic.
